Vehicle Detail

Factory V-8 351 H Code, Yellow, White Interior, Factory AC car with PS and front Power Disk Brakes. Drives very good and I think better than a restored car. One owner till I purchased the car. Purchased new in Farmville, North Carolina ( a WWII Pilot) and buyer lived about 30 miles away in Kinston, NC. Car has been garaged or in a hanger its whole life ( I bought it out of a hanger!). Car is very original and is as straight and just about rust free as you will ever find, and try to find one that never had undercoating that is not rusted ( see video below of underside of the car). The benefit of this car is you know how it was built as you click off the option sheet all the options are still present. See the photo of the option sheet. The car had a repaint its original color yellow many years back and has chips in a number of areas and in the sun you notice some fade spots on the yellow paint. It does look presentable, but not a show repaint in any way. The top is white and may be the original top. It is very tender and needs replacement very soon, but I have been enjoying it with the top down. See the original window sticker- not a reproduction this is the original one. The original owners card. I have a copy of the original title. I also have the original build sheet. It really does not get any better. I just put a new set of Hankook Optimo white wall tires on the car ( not shown in photos) and replaced the plugs, cap and rotor and fuel filter. Replaced the valve cover gaskets and replaced some brake lines. Car runs very good. The AC is compete, but not blowing cold. The lights and signals work. Original Am radio not working. Dash lights and interior lights not working. Working fuel gauge and speedometer and odometer, but the oil pressure gauge and temp gauge not registering. Have original jack, but do not have a spare or lug wrench. I do buy and sell old Mustangs as a hobby for the past 30 years. I have found that this car is not comparable to any other 70 Mustang Convertible in the market. You do not get these opportunities to purchase a car with this much documentation nor will you find one with straight body panels and all original floors and frame. Original paint in engine bay. New battery in 2014 and battery cables and a new radiator. This is a car you can get in and enjoy now. I expect you will want to spend some money getting a new top, but after that you might just drive and enjoy the car. It is very comfortable with the original white high back seats and the console is nice to have and use. Not a restored car so you can drive and enjoy it as it is and have a lot more fun with it than one that this restored and I believe an original car drives better too. Driving down the road with the top down you sure will enjoy the sound of the dual exhaust and the good handling of this original un-restored car . Now is the time bid on this great rare original car. Free and clear title in my name, Take a look a the video links. I may add one of the car running a bit later. 1970 Original One owner Mustang Convertible $21,500www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCi6V0Jd6BI 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible - 1 Owner - Kinston NC whole Life $21,500www.youtube.com/watch?v=It6rsYTX-Kk On Jul-26-16 at 17:25:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding a full exterior of the car. Showing the car running too. Also note that I realized that there must have been a piece of rubber that cut loose when the tire gave out and shot up on the top of the right fender and created a ridge or dent on the top of the fender. The reason I got new tires all around was because of that tire. I saw and noticed the dent just yesterday before shooting the video. It is really hard to detect on the video, but I have contacted a paintless dent repair company to look at it and if it can be corrected I will have that done for the new owner. https://youtu.be/5OGL3oLpyvg 1970 Mustang Convertible Exterior and runningOn Jul-26-16 at 17:33:44 PDT, seller added the following information: “1970 Mustang Convertible Exterior and running” — This video was taken 7/25
