This truck was owned by a farmer who drove this truck as a daily driver around his farm until last year. I bought it and could not believe how well it has survived and how good it drove. Cosmetically the truck is in very solid original shape as pics and video show. The cab corners, floors, doors, tailgate, and fenders look in really exellent shape in my opinion and The paint is original paint. it even still shows the original white pinstripe on the cab. The windshield and door glass is good , the rear glass is cracked but there. I pictured any cosmetic flaw I saw and videod so study them well. This truck would be AWSOME if kept original paint with a coat of clear on it to preserve the look and show it off! This truck drives great like a 1950 chevy 3600 truck should and it shifts all gears very nice and smooth. The clutch is solid and the brakes stop the truck. (we did a new master cylinder and rear brakes but fronts still need to be redone) . The guages all are working from what I can see except for the fuel guage as the truck is running off a aux tank now (original should be replaced or cleaned out before using as it has not been run off of for around a year, LMC truck easy replacment around $150 ) The wood in the bed is original as pictured. This truck has a really neat vintage visor on it and it makes the truck look really Awsome. The seat is original as pictured and the springs feel solid. This truck is still a 6 volt system and the lights are working. The vintage plates, plate toppers, and dash magnets do not go with the sale of the truck as they are part of my personal collection. This is a truck that you can start driving right away the way to shows (and win for originality) and enjoy the patina and look while tinkering with it or take it to the next level feeling great knowing what you got and restore it to a 40k area show truck. I do not want to overcall it or undercall it as everyone has their own opinion of what a classic 66 year old truck should be, let the video and pics tell the story.
