Always garaged and maintained, never hit, never damaged, no rust, no issues. Everything works (cruise control, AC, etc.) Recently gone over and fully serviced bumper to bumper by mercedes specialist. Michelin tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Runs and drives excellent. Tight steering, good brakes, no shaking, no smoking, Looks as good as it drives. A virtual time capsule inside and out and an exquisite example of Mercedes engineering. Take it to european car shows on the weekends and/or use as a reliable daily driver and put a few hundred thousand miles on it. A turn key classic. One meticulous owner from 1992 to 2014. Always garaged and serviced at the dealer on time. This car was the owners prized possession and was not driven in the winter or in inclement weather. The original female owner sold the car in 2014 to an elderly collector and enthusiast who kept it garaged at his summer house and put only 100 miles on it over 2 1/2 years. It was started and driven at least once a month except when there was snow or salt on the roads. I purchased the 300D from the 2nd owner when he was looking to free up some space in his garage. As a Mercedes collector myself, I could not resist such a pristine example and knew that this car would be the answer to the prayers of some MB diesel enthusiast out there.
