1989 Honda CR

1989 Honda CR125R. The bike has a California title in my name and is currently registered. I have the green sticker and it is good until June 2017. The green sticker is not attached to the bike. The top-end has a new genuine Honda piston, ring, wrist pin and bearing, reassembled with OEM gaskets. The cylinder is still on the original chrome bore. The ATAC system was cleaned and operates freely. I installed a later model aluminum inner clutch cover and water pump cover with new seals, so there is no clutch cover or water pump cover rot. I included a photo of the inner clutch cover and new seals that I installed. The rear shock just received a new oil change including a new bump stop from Noleen. I installed a new D.I.D. drive chain on good sprockets. I serviced the air filter properly. The bike starts, idles, runs, and revs great. I ran it easily without load several times after the new piston was installed, and I rode it briefly through the gears a few times in the pits at a local track, but I didn't put any track time on it. There is normal wear and tear to be expected from a motocross bike of this age. Body plastic has areas of discoloration, scratches, sticker glue, etc. Front number plate is cracked. I didn't replace the torn hand grips on the bike, knowing that most riders would want to install a personal favorite grip style and color for replacement. The exhaust pipe has many small dents. The front rim has an outward dent, visible near the back in one of the photos. The seat has a few small tears. The frame has paint wear and small areas of overspray from touch up. The red color in the fork boots is faded. I may be willing to deliver to a Los Angeles area exporter for overseas shipment. Please contact me with any requests.
