For Sale 1955 Chevy Bel Air Wagon , car originally built in LA California where it lived until 5 years ago when I had it shipped to Iowa.it has a rebuilt 350 4 bolt main bored 30 over with a med cam. sorry I don't know the grind the motor was rebuilt when I bought the car. it has new dropped spindles with power disc brakes ,new aluminum radiator,transmission [9 mo ago] with new JEGGS Street stall converter ,new new port power wiper motor [just this week], new American racing torque thrust wheels and 205/70r15 Michelins on front and 245/60r15 T/A's on rear. all new brake lines and hoses, all new 3/8 fuel line and fuel tank and sending unit, all new dual exhaust with thrush fully welded muffs[ sound's great]. has 1957 chevy rear end with 3;36 gear ratio with new axle bearings [1 year ago] the 57 rear end has heavier axle bearings.the interior has grey swivel buckets with grey inserts and black carpet, all in great shape . the body is 8 out of 10 with alittle age showing thru on some repairs done on top twards the rear of the car , has looked the same since I bought the car 5 years ago. all trim in good condition but bumpers could use rechromed. glass in good condition but windshield has scratches from wiper blades and left rear curved glass has some delamination on edge.the car doesn't have power steering but the pump is already on the motor and the powersteering box, column and steering coupler will come with the car, I've been to busy to install and it actually steers easy with out . any question please ask and i'll reply ASAP. car is sold asis with out any warranty , $500.00 nonrefundable deposit within 2 days thru pay pal and balance paid bank transfer or cash. have cash lined up before bidding because I don't have time for you to ask your wife or bank for permission later . your welcome to come and look before you buy, actually i'd prefer you did .also contact me and i'll give you my # if you'd like to talk. thanks for looking and happy bidding. I don't have the bumper jack or spare tire . and yes I have documentation from California VIA copy of title I have from CA, and prior registrations from clear back to 1987. and original plates from CA. and yes it has front and rear seat belts installed their just tucked under the seats, not required in IA on classic cars
