1968 Mercury"Cougar"Black Plate Southern California originalOne owner since new!Original "Pink Slip" Title (see photo) "PROJECT CAR" Featuring: 302 4V V-8, with 3 speed standard shift. The owner stopped driving it in 1994...It sat for many years and is currently registered as "Non Op" it recently had someone go through the brakes (wheel cylinders, master cylinder etc) , flush the fuel system install new fuel pump, install new water pump and radiator. The car runs and drives but runs rough, The body is very straight, doors open and close nicely, all glass is good. There is a small amount of rust on the passenger quarter panel (pictured) The car was repainted only once in 1990 and looks good on the sides but the upper surfaces show failing clear coat. The interior needs new headliner, dash pad seat covers, rear package tray. The turn signal switch is bad and someone has started taking the column apart to replace it, the steering is also stiff (no power) possibly just in need of lubrication, tires are very old... This is a Project in need of some work before its road ready...
