Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1969 Camaro Yenko Replica. In no way am I selling this as a real Yenko. It is, However a very nice replica of one. This car is not a trailer queen. I drive this to all the car shows. I have owned this car since 2002. The reason I am selling is just to purchase something different. This car is not equipped with power steering, but it does steer straight and runs down the road as it did when it was new. The motor is a real LS-6 (454 ci). New from old stock and only installed in this car. The motor has never been disassembled or rebuilt. Other than the stock mechanical cam being replaced with a better Competition Cam. The original rockers were also changed to full roller rockers. That fit perfectly under the stock valve covers. This car still retains the original 4-speed Muncie transmission which is in excellent working condition. When I purchased the car, it had 3.73:1 Richmond gears (included with purchase). I changed them out to a 3,42:1 Richmond gear set, with a heavy duty Eaton posi, carrier and a complete bearing/seal overhaul kit. The car has power disc front and drum rear brakes. The brakes are in perfect working condition and show very little wear. Included in the drive train components are Hooker Competition aluminum coated headers, Complete mandrel bent exhaust with stainless steel factory style tips, Stainless Steel Dyno-Max mufflers, Zoom clutch kit, and Hurst Competition Plus Shifter. MSD Electronic ignition. Holley 4150 750 carb, Holley High Volume fuel pump, ARP fuel pump push rod. ARP oil pump pinned drive rod. Also the correct radiator has been installed. I still have receipts for almost everything, and even some of the original boxes, such as the roller rocker kit, the MSD electronic dist, ETC. This is an original California Black Plate Car, with that original plate included with the purchase. It started life out as a 396 SS car. This car has always been put away clean and dry in its own garage. I am 58 years old, so you know this car has been adult-driven since its original restoration back in 2002. I have a "diary" of everything thing I've done with this car, such as oil changes, fluid changes, all maintenance, and even the smallest changes since the first day. I have a lot of pictures included with this ad, but if there is something you would like to see that I have not included, please send me an e-mail and I'll try to send it out to you. Camaro is located in Marquette, Michigan One last thing: Within 1 week of me purchasing this car back in 2002, I neatly and discreetly installed a Hobbs hour meter to the ignition. To date, that meter reads 394 1/2 hours. I don't think you will be disappointed!
