2000 Mercedes Benz S500 For sale is my father's 2000 Mercedes-Benz S500 Sedan. He purchased it off-lease in 2005 with 50,000 miles on it. Currently the dash reads 165,991 miles. He recently bought my LS460L off me so his Mercedes is up for grabs. It has signs of normal wear but still runs and drives strong. I just took it on a road trip to Philadelphia from DC and had no problems. The air suspension works perfectly as it was replaced buy Mercedes-Benz a few years ago with all OEM parts. All documentation for all the work done on the car is available. The car has power everything, telescoping wheel, heated and cooled front seats, pulse massaging seats, sunroof, premium sound, power trunk, auto closing doors and trunk, HID headlamps, DVD navigation, rear vanity mirrors, dual-zone climate control, etc. The Continental tires have lots of thread left on them. The leather is still supple and is in excellent condition at 17 years old. It is a non smoker car and there are no pet odors. The air conditioning works but will definitely benefit from a Freon recharge soon (R-134a kit is $30 at auto parts stores). There is the typical rust spots at the lower door sills, there are a few spots that could use some TLC. There is a check engine light on and some light bulbs need to be replaced. Sold as is.
