This car has spent its entire life in Effingham, IL, Special ordered from Poland Buick for the Poland Body Shop Manager. When he decided to quit driving.he was in his 90's and the Roadmaster had 42,000 miles when we purchased it in 2010. The only reason, I am selling the car is due to acquiring a 2006 car with 60k from a family member. The Roadmaster has been always been garaged at the house its entire life as I drive my farm truck most of the time. It was taken on vacations to Texas and Arizona when it had around 70k on it. All fluids, brakes, hoses, belts were changed for that trip, along with a complete tune-up. The car averaged over 22 mpg and is one of the most comfortable cars ever made. Around town the car still averages 19mpg, almost unbelievable with all of the power that engine has. In 2011 we had the transmission totally rebuilt and the complete heat and air conditioner system redone. In 2012 we installed a new HD battery. . New Firestone "Destination" tires were installed at 80k and a new distributer at 90k. The oil and filter have been changed every 3,000 miles and car has never used a drop of oil between changes, and the last change was at 96k. Car has been waxed yearly. This Buick is extremely reliable, safe, and comfortable. Only minor issues I am aware of: Gas gauge reads off 1/8 from what it is and the key remote for the door opener on driver's side is tempermental. I can't say enough about the ride, except probably one of the best out there. No wind noise . We had a Sirious Radio installed along with a cd for vacations added, still have the original Dolby system radio. This car has never been smoked in.
