I bought this 1950 Original Chevy pick up truck from a estate sale here locally. I got it home and realized how special this truck is being a true survivor! It is one of the most original trucks I have had in some time and decided to offer it up for sale on ebay to give it the national audience this truck deserves. From what I can tell, This truck is ORIGINAL PAINT all the way (black) It even still has the original painted pin strip. this is truly a SURVIVOR that in my opinion, had to be left just as I had bought it to really show how amazing it is that the truck has survived in the condition it is in.

I got it back to my shop and had my guys do a complete tune up , check the fluids, go through the brakes, put a new master cylinder on, added a electric fuel pump, and rebuilt the carb. The truck ran with no knocks smoke or misses. This truck is not road worthy as a daily driver until it has been completely gone through but it has been brought back to where you can start and drive it around while you take it to the level you want. The brakes stop the way they should and stop fine for my country roads, but only the rear brakes are working (fronts still need to be re-done) Tires look old but hold air. The guages were working along with the lights etc. it has a 216 6 cyl and the truck is still a original 6 volt system. As the video shows, I drove it on a ten mile test drive up to 55 mph and it ran and handled great. It steered the way a 3600 chevy truck of this vintage should. I have the truck running off a aux gas tank as the original tank should be replaced or cleaned out before using it ($150 lmc truck). It comes with the original wood stake sides for the bed and it has the original wood slates in the bed floor. the wood stakes sides can be easily removed if you wish to take them off. The truck is equiped with vintage correct road side reflectors and this truck comes with a visor that really looks great on the truck.

The iowa license plate and plate topper does not go with the sale of the truck as it is part of my collection.
