Vehicle Detail

Relisting with a starting bid of my previous reserve- **NO RESERVE** this time. This is the minimum I am willing to take for this vehicle. I have over $7K invested in the vehicle within the past two years not including the aftermarket entertainment systems. The Vehicle has less than 8K miles on the new engine (check scans from dealership for engine swap which includes in/out miles). =========================================================== OK, this vehicle has a bit of a history and needs some explanation. I got this a few years back and absolutely loved it - V8 power, third row seating, heated/cooled seats, great in the snow, good for towing etc. Now, on a very cold winter night, I came back to my train parking lot and the vehicle complained about low oil pressure when I turned it on. I live < 2 miles from the train station and thought it should be ok to risk it - Bad decision! I blew the engine < 100ft from my house! But I still loved the truck and wanted to keep it. Decided to buy a brand new crate engine for it and have it installed. The engine cost me ~$3200 and installation a further $3500 at a Lincoln dealership - more expensive I know but at the time I was planning on keeping the vehicle for a long time and wanted to have it done right. The vehicle was in top form as expected and I used it for the next few months and through the winter season. However this was my fourth car and it has been sitting on the street since. I had not disconnected the battery and it was dead when I tried to start it up. The AAA Battery tester showed bad cells so this will need to be replaced. I jump started the car and drove to a nearby town earlier this weekend and it ran fine without any issues (about a 50 mile round trip). However, it has been sitting for over an year. If you want to drive it back to your place, I would strongly recommend having it serviced first and have a new battery installed. I have put a lot of money into this vehicle (I know I won't get that back) but its just losing value sitting on the street + insurance and taxes. Its time to let it go. Note: if you are the winner, plan on picking it up before 07/10. I will be travelling after this on and off it will be hard for me to schedule a pickup time for the next couple of months. I have tried to take photos of all scratches and problem areas as best I could. If you would like me to take photos of any other areas, I would be happy to do so. However please keep in mind that the vehicle is being sold AS IS and has been sitting on the street for over an year. If you would like to test drive the vehicle before bidding, contact me and we can work something out. There will be no negotiation on the price after the auction ends - It has a very low reserve.
