For your bidding pleasure today we have an absolutely gorgeous one owner 2001 Chevrolet Corvette which is being sold on behalf of the United States Bankruptcy court, Southern California District, in the matter of Raynes, BK # 12-09140-LA7. This beautiful exceptionally low mileage Light Pewter MetalicCorvette with black interior and all the standard equipment - am/fm radio/cd, heater, lift out moon / sun roof, power everything including steering, brakes, seats, windows, door locks, as well as the optional 16 disc CD changer in the trunk, heads up dash display, and upgraded premium wheels. The wheel lock key is in its factory sealed bag in the trunk! (Detailed factory / VIN spec sheet from an Online resource follows this listing.) Except for the battery ( a year old) this car is 100% completely factory original including the tires which are Goodyear Eagles with a manufacturing date of 27th week of 2000 (DOT 2700). The tires are sixteen years old but because it was always garaged they are still great looking and feature excellent 80% tread. This car was purchased as an investment and weekend toy and always garaged and never smoked in; owner does not smoke. Unfortunately circumstances forced bankruptcy filing and the investment / car is now for sale to the highest bidder with proceeds to go to creditors. The 200 MPH odometer is 100% correct and this fifteen year old car only has 10,759 miles on it; 717 miles per year average! It does have a few small cosmetic gravel dings on the front bumper and a single small road debris paint gouge on the hood (see photo with penny opposite nick) which appears to have been touched up. I drove the car about ten miles from point of turnover to our warehouse and felt a slightly pulsing brake pedal when stopping; it may have been driven with the emergency brake on at some time. Brake rotor turning / touch up should fix it. Otherwise it drives excellent and everything works, A/C blows cold etc. as it should. All fluids are 100% and there are no leaks, squeaks, or problems observed or encountered, a very nice car.Other than the few road nicks described above this car is otherwise in excellent above average condition for a similar make and model. We held the first public viewing of the car today and it was pointed out that there is a scratch on the windshield which we speculate may be from the same piece of debris that scratched the hood. As in whatever struck the hood providing the scratch on it then struck the windshield. It is not broken but is scratched. Or we may have it wrong and something fell on the windshield and then struck the hood? It is located below the mirror midway down to the bottom. I have added a picture, the last in the series, which illustrates it pretty well, I think. Anyone who has bid and wishes to withdraw their bid because of this change in the description, we get it; no harm no foul. I will say that I drove this car and did not notice it at all, it's not in the drivers immediate field of vision. And the windshiled is NOT broken, no crack, just an abrasion / scratch.
