Selling this 1996 BMW R850R in excellent condition. Just under 39,600 miles. Looks like a new bike. I am only the second owner of this bike and I've owned this bike since last fall. First owner had to stop riding about 2005, so bike had been sitting since then under cover in a garage. After a new fuel pump, a new gel battery and a good washing, it was ready to go. Runs great, needs nothing. Has optional clock and tachometer as well as Ohlins shocks and a set of BMW saddle bags keyed to ignition. Original owner had custom bikini fairing installed and matched to color of the bike. Also comes with all the owner's manual, tool kit, 1995 and 1996 model lineup brochures, original shocks and a maintenance manual. Tires have plenty or tread although they are older. They were installed in 2003 at 37K miles. For sale as is with no warranty. I'd be happy to show you the bike in person if you live close enough to Pollock Pines, California. Otherwise, ask questions and please make sure you are comfortable bidding and winning. I'd be happy to work with your shipper or I may consider delivering within 150 miles or so of Pollock Pines for expenses - if needed. I would also be willing to pick the successful buyer up in Sacramento if you want to drive it home. Just check with me prior to bidding to make sure it works for both of us.
