This is a nice 1961 AMC Metropolitan which came out of the factory as a hardtop but a previous owner made it a convertible. As a unibody constructed car, this was not a wise choice. It was a California car so there is NO rust whatsoever...NONE! Currently the car runs but does not drive as the clutch requires replacement. There is a convertible top which functions perfectly. The heater does not function. The odometer reads 15,734 which I'm sure is 115734. The motors runs nicely...NO smoke...does not burn oil.You can own this Met for a fraction of the cost of others, replace the clutch and enjoy it there after. I encourage you see the car in person and inspect it yourself. This car is NOT perfect and has needs which I have done my best to disclose. The price is FIRM.
