Thank you for viewing this listing. Please note that I have 100% feedback and always make every effort to describe my items. This 560 SL is 29 years old and its beauty speaks for itself. During my ownership I always made every effort to preserve it. You are bidding on my 1987 Mercedes 560 SL. I have owned this car for about 5 years. During this time, I have taken great care of this car. It has always been garaged and has never been driven in the rain or snow. The hard-top has always been stored and protected in my home. The soft top is in excellent condition and is not faded. I am not sure if the soft-top is the original, but it sure looks great. The only time that I have used the soft-top is when the vehicle is being washed and waxed. During the 5 years that I have owned this vehicle, I have driven it approximately 4000 miles. When I first purchased the vehicle I immediately replaced the tires and all fluids. The oil has been changed twice a year. Recently I replaced the power steering belts and the power steering gearbox. The battery was replaced about a year ago. The spark plugs and wires were replaced at the same time as the battery. This car has never been smoked in. The leather is excellent. The carpets are immaculate. The clock isn't working (not sure why - never looked into it). The alarm is disabled. Everything is original except the after-market stereo. This is truly an awesome car that always starts and is a pleasure to drive. They do not make cars like this anymore!
