Up for auction is my 1970 dual purpose Honda CT-90 with a reasonable reserve price. This is an all original machine that needs no mechanical or electrical repairs. It runs and shifts just fine and is an easy starting machine providing the battery is fully charged and the head light is off. The paint is original and is not perfect but very presentable, the same applies to the rims, the chrome is in good condition, some small pitting here and there. Over all for a machine that is 46 years old it must have had an easy life because it looks remarkably good. I cannot think of any thing that it needs. There are no turn signals as there was no requirement for them in 1970. The rear brake was dual action, left hand lever or right foot pedal.The left hand lever was made non-operational by me. It also has a lever shift transfer case which provides a lower set of gears(a total of 8 forward gears). You have to be off of the bike to engage the transfer feature. One feature that I really like is the handle bars are on quick disconnect and can turned 90 degrees that will allow the bike to go thru my camper door with no problem. This bike will travel along at 45 mph with a 200 lb. driver on it, not a bike for a younger or smaller kid. There is some distortion of the plastic over the carb.. don't know what caused it. I'm guessing heat. There is an Illinois title and a good set of manuals including the owners manual. The tires were new last year and are approved for highway/street use. I can deliver within 400 miles for a fee however the bike and transport charge would have to be paid before the bike leaves my property.
