Vehicle Detail
I've been fortunate enough to own many bikes, including cruisers, cafe racers, and naked bikes by a number of makes. This 9T has been a true joy to own and has netted me so many compliments and double takes. It's such a sweet little bike, and I'll likely shed a tear when I get it to a new owner. I don't want to sell, but I have too many vehicles and need to thin the herd. Recently had 12,000 mile service, which included: Engine oil and filter change, Final Drive oil change, New Battery, Valve Adjustment. Extras included in sale: BMW Tank BagBMW Custom Rider SeatBMW Stock SeatDaytona Fairing (Black)Daytona Touring ScreenDaytona Short Screen Battery Tender Pigtail (detailed in photo)Booster Plug (detailed in photo)Wunderlich Paralever SliderWunderlich Handlebar RisersXHead DOHC Cylinder Head CoversPilot Road IV Tires (6,000 Miles young)Known issues:The boot that connects the swingarm to the gear box is starting to crack. This is absolutely covered under warranty. Unfortunately, I live 215 miles from a dealership, and I'm working all summer, so I can't just hop over to get this replaced. But this would be easily fixed by any BMW dealership and honored under the warranty. I've included a photo of the boot, for the sake of transparency. I also put a little The right side cylinder head cover is scratched in two places. This is not due to a get off or drop. The bike has never been dropped or laid down. Because I'm an idiot, I leaned the bike against a brick supporting beam in my old garage, and it scratched the head cover (thankfully, I had the cover on!). If this bothers you, it's an easy fix to replace the cover or leave the covers off. I've bought and sold bikes on eBay before, and I pride myself in being honest and ensuring smooth transactions. I am not, however, a motorcycle mechanic, and I have described the condition of the bike to the best of my ability. I've owned this 9T since new. I broke it in somewhere between maniac and babying. The boxer engine burns off about 1/4 of a quart of oil every 2,000 miles. No leaks, cracks, or heavily damaged parts. All electric works. The battery has been on a tender every single day that I haven't ridden. It's been garaged in a warm, secure unit its whole life. Please ask me any questions you have. Sale is final.
