I was fortunate to get this bike a few years ago from the original owner. This motorcycle was kept in an air conditioned industrial building and then in my garage for the last few years. This bike belonged to a pop musician from Downey California, a recording artist who performed with his sister, a famous vocalist, my main reason for buying the motorcycle. It was purchased from Dick N' Walts in Montebello, California. I have not transferred the title so the winning bidder will be the second owner, I have the signed off, California title. The bike is an all original survivor, runs strong, everything works; electrical, transmission, clutch, kick and electric starter, new battery. I believe the tires may be original and rubber still looks and feels good. The only issue I know of is a very small oil leak over time from the cylinder when running, these bike are known for this (It is possible a re-torque of the head may fix this). It also needs new brakes lines. It could use a carburetor sync and tune up. The fuel tank has no rust and has a protective coating inside. There is a belt scratch on the tank, side plates are near perfect. Exhaust in great shape; very minor dings and no rust. Bike has a nice patina but no rust I am aware of. This is a rare find.
