1998 Honda Shadow Aero 1100cc (VT1100C3) This is the bike Harley Davidson sued Honda for making. This bike looks and sounds just like a Harley, but doesn’t require any of the maintenance, and cost a fraction of what a Harley does. This bike was hand built in the USA in Ohio. This is a great bike to ride and it looks amazing. Low and long this bike has the boulevard cruiser nailed. The black and chrome color scheme is carried throughout the bike, even the engine is blacked out with finished edges. The v-twin, single pin crankshaft engine is mounted to the frame with rubber mounts so it vibrates, but won’t shake you numb like a Harley. This is a shaft driven bike that runs smooth and sounds even better. First you should know I am a “car guy” and this bike has been garaged kept, serviced regularly, documented, and never any expense spared. This is an amazing bike, but I don’t take the time to ride it any longer and I need the space in the garage, so I’m selling it. There are a couple scratches in the saddle bags. They were there when I bought the bags. I had planned to custom paint the bike and never got around to it. One of the locking hinges on one of the bags is broken. The lid opens and works fine, it just doesn’t stay open. I can include a set of replacement hinges at no cost if you’d like. Other than that, I can’t think of any problems or issues with the bike. It’s in near mint condition. I also have an Indian front fender, stock seat, and solo rail available separately if the buyer is interested. Clean California title with current registration in hand.
