Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1957 Chevy Coupe Bel Air Pro Street project car. This vintage Tri Five Chevrolet runs and drives. The car has a ton of potential and could be taken in a number of directions from a weekend racer to a casual cruiser. The look of the blower stacked up top with the right stance really shows well. The exterior of the vehicle is intact but will require some refinishing work. The chrome and detail pieces are present. There are a few small areas of filler use but the car is not rotted or does not show excessive rust. The interior is mostly complete with some minor mods. The seats are in good shape with no tears to the surfaces. The carpet shows well with no signs of excessive wear. The headliner will need to be replaced. There are some aftermarket gauges but the original cluster comes with the car. The ever important Sun Tach is in working order. The interior door panels have been swapped out for lightweight metal for a vintage drag look. Replacement panels are easily sourced. The small block, iron headed Chevy is topped with a positive displacement blower and a duo of Carter style 750 carbs. The engine will pull hard but could use some tuning work to dial it in. Cam specs are unknown. A Turbo 400 transmission has been swapped in along with a ford 9" differential. The brakes have been upgraded to discs up front and a dual master cylinder has been installed. The charging system has also been upgraded. There are a number of mechanical and cosmetic parts that accompany the car including but not limited to: A complete wiring harness, new in the box. An Griffen aluminum cross flow radiator with electrical fan and shroud. Additional chrome pieces and two factory (not aftermarket) steel hoods also come with the car. If you have been looking for the right 150, 210, Nomad or Bel Air, this classic Chevrolet is ready to go.
