This is a 1962 Buick Electra 225 Convertible presented in Arctic White Exterior with a Blue Interior. The vehicle has 83,817 original miles with the original engine and transmission. It has been maintained over the years with service and repair records going back to the 1980's. Current ownership dates back to 2004, the vehicle is located in GA, moved from its previous home in the midwest. The vehicle was purchased with the intention of restoration but a new child on the way has altered my plans and the vehicle is being sold as is. It is in running condition having been recently tuned up by a Buick Mechanic who worked on these vehicles when new. The radiator has been flushed, transmission fluid changed, new hoses and battery. All power windows work, the top works, gauges all work. The radio is not currently working. The engine is the 445 Wildcat with Automatic transmission. The top and interior are in very good condition. The blue matching carpet is also in good condition. The vehicle shows well as a 'driver' condition vehicle. There are normal wear items around the body for an unrestored vehicle of this age. There is damage on the right front quarter panel as a result of a parking lot impact (in 2008). I had one professional restoration shop inspect the vehicle and they indicated the panel is repairable. The damage is visible in several of the passenger side photos (front-end). I held off on any repair in the event someone wants to complete a total restoration. The vehicle has a clear title and is located in Atlanta, GA. Upon successful sale, pick-up/transportation will be the responsibility of the new owner within 2 weeks.
