!!!!!!!!!NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!!!! 1976 Toyota landcruiser FJ 40. 4 speed, 4wd. Original engine and transmission. It runs good, drives good, has good power, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, runs cool. The transmission shifts smooth, clutch operates as it should and has no chatter when taking off. The running gears are sound. 4wd and locking hubs work as they should. This fj runs straight down the road and has no play in the steering, no rattles. The interior and engine compartment still wear its original paint. the exterior has been repainted with original colors. Currently the turn signals and parking lights are not working. The license plate bracket lights needs wired up. The oil pressure gauge is not working, all other gauges work including the speedometer. The radio works but doesn't have speakers. The emergency brake does not work. The body has very little rust. Theirs evidence of a minor rear impact on the inside back corner (see photo) that was repaired with sheet metal and the corner diamond plate, the rockers are solid and no evidence of rust in quarter panels. Their are 2 brackets on the undercarriage in front of the rear wheels that have some rust. Some rust spots on the inside rear fender wells(see photos). Windows roll up and down as they should. ignition key works both door locks.This cruiser is an unrestored, unmolested 40 year old survivor. I have described this cruiser as it is, its not perfect but its a good solid driver and a lot of fun to drive. The pictures show exactly what you'll be getting.
