1960 Chevrolet El Camino This is a project car. You can either restore it or make a Rat Rod out of it. That was my plan, but health issues are preventing me from doing that. It is a pretty solid and straight car but does have some rust issues in the floor pans and will probably need complete floor pans. Most of the rust on the body is surface rust but there is some bubbling in small areas around the wheel wells. There is one small hole the size of a golf ball in the left front corner of the bed. I have all but three pieces of trim for the car, the two long pieces on the driver’s side and the top of the tailgate. The trim will need restored as well. It does roll easily and steers but has no brakes. It will need all new wiring. The engine is gone but it does come with a manual transmission that was in the car. It is a 3 speed with overdrive. It has the clutches, flywheel and all the linkage. Drive shaft is still in it, too. The radiator, fan shroud, brake booster and master cylinder are included. I’m not sure if any of it is any good but I would assume not. But it should be good for cores or to be rebuilt. Please understand that this car needs a lot of work. But these El Caminos are very rare and finding one that is restorable is getting harder to do.
