This is a No Reserve auction for a 2004 2.7L Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2-Door. There are 102,812 original miles on the vehicle. This car is currently not running and is being sold as a repair or for parts. It has been diagnosed with a blown head gasket. It actually blew the gasket two years ago, but I was able to successfully drive the car around town locally (20 minute drives or less) by using Bars Leaks head gasket repair sealant. The last time this car was driven was approximately 2 weeks ago . . . I'd only driven two miles from home and the car stalled at an intersection. I restarted the car several times, only to have it conk out almost immediately. Coolant was leaking onto the road, although the car had not overheated and no warning lights had come on. I had the car towed to our mechanic, who again diagnosed the blown head gasket and said that coolant was now mixing with the oil. This car cannot be driven at all, and must be towed by the new owner. Although the mechanic was able to drive the car into and out of the garage for diagnosis, the car's engine will no longer engage. The car's ignition will 'turn over' but will not start now. This car is a two-owner car. I purchased the car in 2004 -- it was used with 12K miles on the odometer. I have kept up with all the regular maintenance requirements, but unfortunately, this model of car has been susceptible to blown head gaskets. Up until now, it has been a GREAT car -- low miles for the years. We've created many happy family memories in this car and it breaks my heart to have to say goodbye to it. If someone is able to repair or replace the engine, this car would still prove to be a dream ride for anyone who has ever wanted to drive a convertible! The A/C works just fine. The heater doesn't work because I put the head gasket repair liquid into the radiator, and that does block the heater core. This can of course be remedied by power flush. The HD Stereo/CD player with USB port is after-market . . . . I purchased it less than two years ago. Also new additions to the car include a coolant overflow reservoir and bleeder valve, which were installed less than two months ago. The tires are in great shape! I bought them from Sears in November 2014 but like I said, I have been driving the car just locally for the past two years . . . . around town running errands, so there is barely any wear on the tread. The odometer read 97,882 when I purchased the tires, so they have only had 4,930 miles put on them. The tire style is: RADAR RPX900 P205/60R16 92 H 45,000 MILE so they have PLENTY of life left in them.Other details: Horsepower 200 @5800, Torque 190 @4850, EPA Mileage (city/highway) 21/28, Fuel Capacity 16 gallons, Oil Capacity 5 qts, Coolant Capacity 8. Cargo capacity 11 cu. ft. Head room 38.7", Leg Room 42.4"This car is factory-equipped with air bags, alloy wheels, automatic transmission, cruise control, power locks, power seats, power windows, air conditioning, leather seats, convertible moveable vinyl top, power mirrors, power steering, and rear defroster. Also two key fobs with remote access to the doors and trunk are included.This car has not been in any accidents. Very minor nicks and dings and scratches on the body. I am a non-smoker and have not allowed anyone to smoke in this car. It has been kept and driven in Georgia. I cannot find any rust.
