This is a 1975 Honda CB550F. It is a 550CC SOHC four cylinder, with 4 into 1 exhaust and I believe that is the stock configuration (other models had 4 separate pipes). It is basically stock, other than the paint and some wiring liberties that were taken by a previous owner. It has patina, and wear associated with a motorcycle this age. I have a few parts with it, for instance the center stand which I removed. I do not have the front fender, never did, but they can be purchased online, ebay usually has some listings. In general, parts are remarkably easy to find online for these machines. Both stock parts, and performance upgrade parts are all over the internet as this model is popular with café bike builders. This model in particular is well suited to that with the power it can produce. Stock, it made 64 hp.I love this bike. It runs well. I put a new battery in it just now, started right up and I test drove it. Lights, turn signals, brakes are working well. Tires are still in great shape and have plenty of tread left on them. I have a clean title.I didn't ride it much last year, and it still has some old gas in it. Fuel system is probably a little dirty with old gas as a result, though I didn't notice any issues on my tests ride. I have not yet changed the oil on it for this riding season. It was changed last spring, and the spring before. It's a 40 year old bike though, it will need to be maintained. But Honda's keep going if you can tinker even a little. I do have the Chilton's manual for it.It needs to be cleaned up, and could probably use a carb sync and to have the timing adjusted. It basically needs someone to care about it and ride it.
