One owner CT Trail 90 with matching numbers. Althought this is a late 70 CT90 is does have the early 71 CT90 features which is the last year for Classic Honda color "Scarlet Red". This bike took a first place trophy in its class at the VJMC show out at Jefferson PA. This came from a girl who owned it from new when she lived on the family farm as a young girl. Her son didn't want it so she put it up for sale and used the proceeds for a model he had been wanting so badly. Because her father was a farmer he made sure it was always kept in good shape,under cover and lubricated. There is a battery acid stain behind the muffler on the frame per the pic but the Scarlet Red is exceptional for a 46 year old trail bike other than that. I left the inspection sticker intact from 1982/83 for fear of scratch's under it. I used alot of NOS when it was available. Head light bucket, speedo, seat, muffler. sprockets, footbar, centerstand, footpegs just to name a few. Front shocks where completely rebuilt. Fork tubes were in fantastic shape. New fork boots were installed as well. Chrome is in great shape. New spokes laced after the aluminum was worked back to original and clear coated. New brakes shoes and springs in stalled. Bearings cleaned checked and repacked. Fuel tank looks new inside. Fuel lines were replaced, carb rebuilt. New Cables,New battery, New tubes for the directional tires still in amazing condition. All hardware that was obtained was from Honda when needed. New shift pedal, New Brake Pedal and springs. New brake Rod and springs as well as all brake hardware.The gray frame cover was factory Honda as was the airbox and battery side cover. I had them painted by the talented Honda painter Jack Zelanka who has many motorcycles he painted in the Aaron Frank Honda book taking first place in everthing he touched. Engine was rebuilt by Kenny Weiss, his brother Larry Weiss from Quakertown PA whom had a racing career for fourty plus years worked for Honda for many years and plays and active roles in the NE racing circuit. This was a complete rebuild including gearbox shift pins and forks, New OEM Factory Honda Cylinder, new standard piston and rings of course and valve seats cut and new valves replaced.
