2005 Hayabusa with just over 41,500 miles and little expense spared to make her a rock solid, dependable, competent, long distance sport tourer with all the flexibility to be a weekend cruiser or corner strafer. I have owned this bike (or has she owned me) for 7 years and I put the last 35,000 miles on her myself. The question always asked is if she is so great, why am I selling her. I am a member of the IBA (Iron Butt Association) and have done multiple 1000 mile days an her and use her for camping and touring every summer. The truth is I will be 70 shortly and I feel it is time to slow done a little and ride something different. I get cold easier and need more protection from the weather. Shop manual and other documentation and extras come with the bike. The GPS has been removed and is NOT included. If the BUY IT NOW price is not reached those two items WILL NOT be included. This bike has never been in a shop and all maintenance has been done when required. Filter is new with every oil change. Front and rear wheel bearings were changed within the last 700 miles. This is a used bike and has been used for camping every summer. She has been in every state West of New Mexico and Wyoming. She has been to the top of Mount Evans in Colorado which at over 14,200 feet is the highest paved road in North America and to the top of Pikes Peak which is only about 150 feet lower. The bike has a few scratches. A couple in the black decal under the right mirror and one in the decal on the right rear panel. She runs like a top and is very comfortable. I am 6' tall and 255 lbs. and she carries all my gear along with me at any speed one wishes. I will cooperate with a shipper but any arrangements are to be made by you, the buyer. If the bike has to be shipped I will ship via UPS the extras such as the manuals, windscreens, and anything else included for $50 in shipping. I will ship those extras fully insured. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the sale via PayPal. The balance must be paid in cash or by a check that has cleared the bank before the bike will be delivered or shipped. No exceptions. I have bought and sold all my bikes for the past 20 years this way and do not want to deal with a scammer. I will not ship out of the 48 states and the bike will not move without completed payment.
