Hello you guys, I am selling my RECENTLY REFRESHED 1977 BJ40 JDM TOYOTA LAND CRUISER DIESEL 4 CYLINDER, VIN NUMBER IS BJ40015409. The compression on this 2B engine is 475 psi straight across. No Cancer Rust. Receipts of work done will go to the winning bidder. I brought the Cruiser in from Japan just recently. It is in excellent condition. Does not smoke, does not leak fluids, engine strong, 4 wheel drive transfer case works perfect, transmission shifts perfectly, good brakes ( disc in front ), ALL fluids just changed out and clean, ready to drive anywhere. Oil change, Front and Rear Differentials gear oil changed, Transmission and Transfer case gear oil just changed out, new Coolant, Valves just adjusted, new valve cover gasket, new plug gaskets, steel wheels sand blasted and powder coated just a week ago, New stock caps from Specter Off Road, paint touched up in area's where needed, no Cancer Rust. Cruiser does NOT have AC. It does have complete Jack, Jack components and complete tool bag assembly intact ( which is rare and hard to find ), Previous owner in Japan, at some point, changed out window rubber and door weather stripping, both are in excellent condition. I refreshed the paint in some area's recently, professionally repaired some rust spots, re-upholstered the two front seats, I just put on B. F. Goodrich All Terrain T/A x 4 ( 31 x 10.50 x 15 ) appox. 95% new tread. No rust cancer rust on roof gutter rails ( just professionally touched up last week ). Cruiser is absolutely beautiful and runs perfect. Good Brakes, Good clutch, all gauges work, lights work, Cruiser has original ( hard to find ) Vinyl Flooring. Cruiser currently has Clear Japan Title and all Customs Paperwork in perfect order. I am currently in the process over the next week of getting the Cruiser Titled in Arizona. The Cruiser will either be available for pick up at my home here in Temecula California or at my home in Prescott, Arizona. I have owned many diesel Land Cruisers from Japan and this one runs as good as any I have owned. They are very tough vehicles. The Diesels get over 26 mpg and can virtually go anywhere. The Low 4 is like a tractor. Very strong vehicle. All parts are available through Specter Off Road in Chatsworth, California. If they do not have engine parts when needed then Noordeman Diesel Pty Ltd ( speak with Shane ) has every part. It is my professional opinion, based on the compression of this engine and other factors, that this motor will last a very long time with no issues. I can't give the cruiser away but I have set the reserve price fairly based on the rarity and over-all condition of the cruiser. Feel free to email or call me with any questions.
