This bike was running when I parked it 4 years ago in the garage. It is missing a front brake. I bought a different motorcycle and parked the GS when I moved on. At the time the clutch was slipping in 3rd gear, but other wise the bike ran strong, had a very strong motor. With some solid TLC you could get her back on the road, or scrap it for parts. Once I priced parts on ebay and came up with 1500, I just dont have time to part it out. There are still a lot of die hard GS fans who are looking for parts for these bikes, and cant find them b/c of age. Currently the bike has a welded sissy bar, but I will include the stock one. On May-11-16 at 04:14:01 PDT, seller added the following information: The question was asked has the bike been tempted to start recently. About 12 to 18 months ago (?) We attempted to start the bike with a used battery. It took some cleaning of the ignition coils connections but the bike fired. This will help probably need to be done again. At the time we drained the tank of gas as well. Because of the dead battery and no gas it is impossible to tell if these results could be easily repeated. Additionally, I made a mistake on the mileage. The mileage is at 19,000 rather than the posted 17,000. Forgive me for this mistake.On May-13-16 at 06:37:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked the question if this is a 700 or 1100 cc. This is an 1100, and is a shaft drive bike.
