Vehicle Detail
My principal statement regarding the car has & is "Starts Runs & Drives" That being said I'll try to address some of the inquiry questions I've been receiving. No smell, mildew or mold, Back seats are good, both front seats replaced with aftermarket (manual adjustment slide & tilt) because all electronics, power seat heater etc on originals were beyond repair. I cannot attest to the workability or function of the airbags. The temperature(also exterior temperature indicator)/directional controls function, air comes thru vents but only "powered" by the force of outside air, the interior fan does not work at all. The A/C Compressor, receiver dryer have been replaced & recharged so if you have the temp set to cool, ICE COLD air comes thru vents but again only "powered" by the force of outside air entering the cabin, rear defroster is good, Auto dim & compass on rear view mirror works perfectly as do lit visors, wiper wash does not spray, windows work perfectly, when up all the way there is a slight gap on the rear upper corner of the driver side window. Transmission doesn't have any clunks, however at highway speed when the transmission is in the automatic position in 6th gear on occasion I will get a sound like I'm running over rumble strips, when I kick the shifter over to the manual 5th gear position noise subsides. I put over 4,300 miles on the car, drives, steers, accelerates well & stops just fine. I did start getting oil spots on the ground after about 2,000 miles. I have my own code reader & Jag software although I could clear the light the check engine light is an error indicating "Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Leak Detected" I believe an EVAP test is around $100. Additionally the instrument cluster will show DSC fault (Driver Stability Control) pushing clear makes it go away If your familiar with Jags & check the forums this is very common & doesn't affect the cars drivability whatsoever (you will also find comments regarding rumble strip sound). I never got the keyless remotes to work properly. New: Starter, Alternator, Drivebelt tensioner idler pulley, Shift control cable & shifter housing,Linear Switch,SlidingBlock,Slider Bar, Solenoid, Interlock solenoid, cigarette outlet. So if you're not scared away at this point email me & I'm happy to speak or text with you! Thanks for your interest Upon receipt of Cash, Certified Cashiers Check or money order title will be released, buyer responsible for taxes, licensing, registration pick up and any shipping cost I originally purchased this car online from a dealer in North Carolina as stated above it has a NJ Salvage title
