Rare vehicle! Internet source says only 1771 factory 4-speed manual El Caminos made by Chevrolet in 1979 and production ceased after 1981, most have been abused and junked in the intervening years. A small number remain, only a handful, if that, with this originality and in this condition. One-owner until 4-years ago, 2nd owner now selling. Garaged its entire life, as its condition shows (see photos). This is a numbers-matching factory manual 4-speed SuperSport, 305V8, positraction rear axle, air conditioning, original build sheet, full ownership history, 49570 original miles, factory paint, sheetmetal, drivetrain, glass and interior. Rare 50-50 split bench seat with dual armrests (it's like having two large bucket seats!) Overall condition is 9 out of 10. There are a few small items that need attention to make it perfect. but the paint is shiney, the interior is clean with no rips, tears or sagging, the headliner is like new, the tires have excellent tread, the motor purrs, the transmission shifts smoothly, the dash is perfect with no cracks, its everything it should be.
