Ran well as of 13 April 2016 around 11pm; I haven't tried to start it since then. Freshly customized multi-tone exterior color. TOTAL HEAD TURNER! Only one flat tire!!! WOW! No back window or rear driver quarter window (for weight reduction).Who needs a passenger window either? Burnt stickers on the passenger side quarter window!!! HP gain. Freshly detailed by the local fire department; They made sure not to skip out on the interior or engine bay as well. Good news! The title is clean! I believe that it has reached supercar status since it has a mid engine and caught on fire. Some usable parts! It would beat that supra from the fast and the furious movie by pushing/towing it across the finish line pre-overnight parts from Japan. SUPRA KILLER! Are you ready for the best part?The trunk carpet is melted, along with a bag of FIRE CHEETOS that is partially melted onto a melted backpack!!! ( I wouldn't recommend eating them). But wait, there's more!There are also many bottles of Powerade in the trunk to quench your thirst afterward. (Again, I wouldn't recommend drinking these - Darwin awards may be given out as a result). If you're lucky, you'll find some Cheerios in the ventilation system from 2009 when a family member had an experience with inertia and a bowl of Cheerios ending up all over the dash! The car has made it all the way to Key West, Florida recently, so what else would complete your purchase of this car better than some SEASHELLS in the trunk if you're lucky enough to find them in the rubble! Also have a bottle of genuine water from Key West (if you're going to ask why, I was going to try to sell it on eBay for laughs) - now is your chance to finally own it! I also have a burnt hydraulic car jack freshly purchased from eBay in the trunk! It was purple and silver pre-fire. You never know when you may need one of those! Please note that it was a nonsmoker vehicle. No passenger has ever been allowed to smoke in the car either. Serious notes:-All words above "Serious notes:" are not meant to be taken seriously. Do not eat or drink anything that you find in the car. This car was never going to be sold, but due to unexpected events, it is up for auction. It had another 300,000 miles in the car by the way it drove and the way it was cared for.-non ABS-non power-steering-Car drove fine - I parked it after taking a friend home since it was raining. Went upstairs to sleep, and the fire alarm went off. I was going to the car to drive up into the mountains to avoid standing in the rain, and saw my car with 3 feet of flames shooting out of the engine.-the car obviously won't start - you'll need it to be towed.-Good front clip - fire contained to the rear mostly - May have affected the upper back part of the cab slightly. I've seen front clips go for a decent amount on eBay.-all bushings probably need replacing-good semi-new rack and pinion-rust on rear rocker panels. I don't know of any other rust.-Car was on fire for maybe 20 minutes.-Smoke damaged/flame retardant residue everywhere-Engine is completely unusable.-expect a lot of plastic/wiring/everything else to be messed up/completely unusable in the rear.-small dent in driver side fender.-Paint not perfect-interior/exterior has smoke damage - not sure if it will get better or not with a very good cleaning.-1993 mr2 wheels - front wheels not bent, i cant vouch for the structural integrity of the rear wheels due to heat. Not the best condition. Front ones are definitely usable, Not sure about rears! -low-mile 93+ NA LSD transmission (~70-80k miles) transmission bought new directly from toyota. Not sure if good or not still. I know it got very hot, but I cant promise it is still usable. Not inspected, not tested.----I'll be happy to lift up the rear end and see if the wheels still move properly if that is any way of testing that it works properly still. It was towed with the rear wheels lifted if that means anything to anyone. -one very new brake caliper from toyota in the front, other is used in the front. Still very metallic in color.-The car was in 1st gear when parked when it caught on fire. It was somehow disengaged when it caught on fire - my guess is the clutch was destroyed, but it may have been a transmission issue. I cant promise the transmission is usable.-fire was contained to the engine bay and surrounding areas. The firewall actually worked and protected the cab well.-I would part the car out, but I don't have the space to do so.-title in hand-I'm sure I have forgotten to include some information. Ask me anything and I'll try to answer it.-may have issues that I am unsure about - I am a car enthusiast and am pretty well-aware of issues when they arise, but they may slip past me as well.-glass all over interior-while the title is clean, it is for salvage or for someone who wants to put serious effort into repairs.-driver/passenger doors appeared not majorly damaged.-passenger door had a harder time opening - may be due to glass in door or the metal warping on the rear quarter panel-This car brought many smiles per gallon. This car had a good life, and may have a good life ahead of it if the next purchaser chooses to repair the car. -Recent services (within 20k miles) include:Thermostat, alternator, valve cover seal, timing belt, many seals near timing belt including main seal and camshaft seal - all melted and probably non-existent now.New front caliper and new starter installed within 52k miles. I know that most of those repairs above are now moot due to the fire occurring, but I am listing them anyways. -Might list locally online tomorrow - not sure. I reserve the right to end this auction early if sold locally. Only parts removed and not included - 1994 good condition tails and wiring to them, (if you want those, add 300 to the total price upon pickup.). T Top storage bags (I believe) are locked in the storage space behind the passenger seat - car was given new set of keys over 10 years ago and i don't have the key for it anymore. I was told that they were in there, but no promises! Who knows what else is in there? Comes with free picture frame of a copy of the not-so-serious part of the description along with a picture (up to two) of your choice of the vehicle. 200 dollar non-refundable deposit must be made immediately after the auction ends - must be picked up within 7 days of auction end.Local inspection available via appointment only- Chattanooga, TNI can probably help accommodate cheap shipping within 100ish miles.
