The best way to describe this car is just "utterly cool"..... Powertech Select Motorcars is proud to present a rare 1964 356 C. The owner we purchased it from is a customer of Powertech in Rockaway, NJ and bought it in 1996 from the owner who completed the renovation in 1994-1995. It is NOT a numbers matching car, as the engine is not the original. Modifications include: Corbeau seats with 3" harnesses, 8 gallon (estimated) fuel cell, 1 3/4" rollbar, Bursch exhaust, Vic Skirmants camber compensator, 10 lb fire suppression system, Solex carburetors, Aftermarket ignition Powertech went through this car and found to be no visible rust on this car, with the exception of very minor bubbling a couple of body panels (see pictures). The underside of the appears to be in very good condition. Overall it is in great condition and drives extremely well. The interior is in outstanding condition with the clock, tach, wipers, oil pressure gauges and radio work as they should, though the gas gauge currently does not. The odometer reads 124,529 miles. The paint is believed to be India Red, and as an older repaint. This car is absolutely ready to be driven, as we installed brand new Pirelli tires, rebuilt all four brake calipers,replaced the front and rear brake pads, and installed new front sway bar drop link bushings all in January 2015. The only additional parts we have for the car are the stock heater boxes. We have a Kardex from Porsche for the car. Overall it is a straight, honest example of an outlaw-style 356.
