Rebuilt, Rebuildable & Reconstructed

This is not a complete bike but is many parts including a good rebuildable engine bought from BMW dealer to replace a R60/5 engine, and several parts from R60/5 including Front forks, Seat, Tank, Fenders, Speedo/tach, Ignition, and more. See complete listing and pictures. All parts are good solid useable, all need cleaning and or paint. Although the engine is partially apart for cylinder honing, the engine is complete, needs top end, it was purchased from a local BMW dealer to replace the engine in my old R60/5 which had problems. Most of the other parts came from my old R60/5 bike, but note there is no the frame or transmission or wheels they have gone missing, not sure when or where. These are what I have left. All parts are in good solid condition and have been stored inside, so no rust or corrosion but most need cleaning or paint. See pictures and list.R60/6 engine, #4920038, complete with generator, starter and internals, needs rebuilding ; Good cylinders but need honing ; Two new pistons, with rings, new in BMW parts box, labeled as +.5; 73.96; Two new connecting rods; Valve rocker boxes and push rods; Heads, complete with valves, may need reconditioning; Valve covers, one good, one serviceable but scraped; New, in box electronic ignition.Engine has no timing chain cover, no front cover, no air box, no transmission. Parts below are from R/5 or R/6 believed interchangeable, tell me if they are not: Front fork complete with headlight holders, may also fit R/US, F/6, R/7; Tank, large size gas tank, solid no rust inside or out, needs new paint;Knee pads for large tank, new;Fender, one front, very good, needs paint, fiberglass, which I believe is stock;Fender, one rear fender very good, needs new paint, fiberglass;Seat, one nice bench seat;Toolbox for under the seat;Center stand;Kickstart lever;Headlight/ speedo-tach holder with new lens, no chrome rim, no internal wiring circuit;Speedometer and tach unit, nice looking but may need reconditioning, not sure if functional ;Miscellaneous items: horn, two foot pegs, various used gaskets, shafts, and other minor things ;Also Rear swing arm and drive shaft, for R60/5 short wheel base, it won’t fit /2 or /6 or /7No wheels, no frame only front forks. No title, will provide a Bill of Sale NO RESERVE. Must be picked up from my basement in Seattle, WA. 98112.
