1999 Land Rover Discovery SD 300Tdi/R380 5 speed 72,000 miles History/Conversion: This was originally my family’s weekend car until the V8 developed a knock. Truck was well maintained during its V8 life and has been well maintained since its new life as a diesel. No rust, drivetrain in excellent condition, newer tires, etc… Engine/transmission was purchased and swapped as a guaranteed 60-75,000mi unit. All engine seals and gaskets replaced; intake track, including intercooler internally cleaned; injectors cleaned; new timing set with idler pulleys; new clutch and re-surfaced flywheel; EGR delete; 3” downpipe; new radiator; electric cooling fans; adapted North American spec air conditioning compressor and alternator. All options (air conditioning, heated seats, power windows, power seats) all function. Gages, including glow plug indicator lamp and tach all function properly. Bad things: Hood has 3 dents where hood was closed with tools on the top of engine (during V8) life. I will throw in a good, straight hood if you would like, but it will need to be painted white. Cruise control does not function. The vacuum actuator (can be included) that pulls and holds the throttle open needs to be attached to the throttle via a cable for the cruise to function. Cruise ECM and vacuum pump are functional. Sale Details: Buyer is responsible for $300 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and must be paid via Paypal. Remaining balance is due within 7 days of auction end and can be paid by cash, money order or bank check. If payment is not received within specified time, I reserve the right to relist. I will assist with shipping as needed. I also am willing to deliver the truck within a reasonable distance to a shipping point.
