Classic 1971 Ford Mustang, Grande model. This Mustang is an unrestored original from the West Coast, and currently resides in SW Oregon. Vehicle comes with a floor mounted shifter for the automatic transmission, power steering, 250 CID straight-six, Sony AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with four Sony XPLODE speakers, tachometer, great heater, manual floor vents, manual windows, all gauges work, all glass intact, heater, vents, defroster all work great. I have owned this for three years and it is super fun to drive and gets ALOT of very positive attention every time I drive it! I have put four new performance shocks on it, a new battery, as well as a new Napa starter, alternator, tune-up (plugs, dist. cap, rotor), and has pointless ignition system. This Pony car runs really well and is very reliable, year-round. It is very simple to maintain and the beauty of these cars is they are inexpensive to buy parts for and you can actually reach everything and do your own wrenching. There are no computers, except you! Mustang comes with new Cooper radials riding on new period-style 5-spoke American Racing wheels. This is a very clean ride and perfect for the Mustang affectionado as it is, or the Mustang purist wanting to do a restoration. The vehicle is not perfect and not portrayed to be, as it is 44 years old. There are paint and body imperfections (stripe clear coat) as well as interior imperfections (small tears in seat and headliner upholstery), but overall, this Mustang is a very clean example of an original and unrestored Pony car. To my knowledge I am the third owner and all on the West Coast. From changing the oil and crawling around under it, everything looks solid and original. I am selling this Stang' AS-IS and WHERE-IS, with no warranty implied or actual. It is the buyers sole responsibility and cost to have this vehicle shipped to their destination, however, I am willing to drive it to the winning bidder up to 250 miles for per-diem and mileage ($1/mile). I am also willing to coordinate with your shipper and deliver it to said shipper in my city. For payment I will only accept cash (wire transfers or in-person) or money order/cashiers check.
