This car is right out of American Graffiti.........this is the black sleeper you would pull along side at the red light, right around 10:30 at night..........looks like grand dads old car, ........not quite this is 1955 ford with a 428 c-6 automaticvery interesting history, always was a loco car........purchased and driven,then parked for over 40 years, then when the estate was settled a loco guy bought it, pulled out the 272 v8, stick and cramed a 428 with a c-6 automaticcar still has the clutch pedal under the carpetinghe ran the car for over 10 years up and down the main drag, everyone knew him and his sleeper amazing enough Jerry never raced the car,he said the appearance of the old ford was enoughi bought the car from him,..........but it is still Jerry's old car, everywhere i go, hey, what are you doing in Jerry's car?........time for someone else to relive 1964 on woodward avenuecar runs real well, no issues, 5,000 mile on the rebuild.....428 1966 thunderbird engine, i think it is stock, with a holly 4 barrelnew alumium radiatornew interior, everything,headliner,seats,carpeting,Jerry was a smoker,(who wasn't back then) so the entire interior was striped and replaced,dash,garnish moldings,sandblasted ,primed,paintedfloors, front and rear,trunk are excellent, never replacedeverything works, lights,turn signals,gauges,gas gauge,heater,wipers,etcno radio..........never had oneno power steering......never had itno power anything.....never had itthis car was ordered as a stripped down basic transportation carbias ply front tirescheater slicks on rearcar sits low in front, because the engine weight is 650 lbs, no chopping or lowering springsjust like they were built in the day, cram a hugh engine in a basic cardrum brakes all around, stop on a dimeframe is great but a couple body support units need attentionbottom of doors are great,paint is fresh but painter did a lousy job,it is a 10 footer, no runs but some specks of dirtone small crack in front windshield,(not in line of sight) all rest of glass is orginal and goodit is not a 30-50 thousand high dollar, power everything, fancy custom you are afraid to driveit is a dependable,, affordable car classic car that will kindle a lot of good timesi will do my best to be honest, supply any extra pictures needed, or answer any questionsthis is a no reserve auction, the title is in my name, plated and driven by me, infact i just took the old ford for a 20 mile yesterday...........please bid to buy, and follow though on the bid,$500 paypal is required deposit.........i do not care if you just joined ebay to bid,some people , join just to bid on a car for sale and are disappointed because their bid is rejected due to 0 feedbacki can store the car for while until transportation can be arranged, can help load as well i reserve the right to end auction early if a buyer makes me an offer i can not turn down....shipping and transporting old cars used to be expensive, but with modern networks,computers you will be surprised how affordable moving a car can be,just contact your loco shipper and he will put your requirements on a nationwide system and the transporters will out bid each other for your work
