ONE of 592 true 4 seater Convertibles delivered to the US in 93' that is increasing in value yearly!! Last of the truly hand-built automobiles by Mercedes and a fine example of German engineering. These 126 series cars are very well designed and constructed. They are very reliable, handle beautifully, ride terrific and have a usable back seat and trunk. Other standard features are all power options, ABS/4 wheel disc brakes. They are also the first luxury cars to have a self storing power convertible top and an automatic metal "boot" cover. Another luxury feature are the automatic seat belt extenders. The six cylinder motor is one of the best ever made by Mercedes. Last owner for 10 years has spend documented over 12k in maintenance and repairs, always garaged, has original green paint metallic over tan leather. The hydraulic top has been rebuilt, the AC is blowing cold and the brakes and tires are in good condition. No accidents reported on carfax nor visible on the car, no rust, the body is strait as an arrow. There is a little scratch in the plastic on the front left corner of the bumper from parking. Radio updated, to AM/FM/CD as a wiring connection for satellite radio. There are no issues with the wiring harness or head gasket. Engine runs very strong and accelerates as it supposed to and the car runs straight. The leather seats have due to its age miner wear but not rips or cracks. The soft top is in excellent condition without any rips or tears. The wood trim has no cracks and looks great. The automatic transmission works smooth as it supposed to. Everything works flawlessly. The MSRP for the '93 was over $80K. All original books as manual, maintenance etc. incl 2 Keys come with the car.
