1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro-Touring 1968 Chevy Camaro Convertible Pro-Touring with Chevy LS-1 Motor in gorgeous condition. It is a Van Nuys California factory car originally. I cannot confirm if it was an original SS or not, but it is truly an amazing head turning/neck whipping automobile. This vehicle drives as beautifully as it looks! Some of the features are: 5.7 Liter LS1 Motor L6 Cam and intake 6 speed manual T56 transmission 12 bolt posi-trac rear end Front disc brakes (factory) Doug Headers with Spin Tech mufflers (2 1/2 in. turn down H-pipes) New suspension upgrades include (but not all) front sway bar, front coil over shocks, Energy suspension polyurethane body mounts, multi-leaf rear springs, and Lakewood ladder bars for maximum rear wheel traction and handling. The car has a complete new head to toe American Auto-wire wiring harness. Dakota Digital gauges, and has an amazing Retrosound radio (looks stock) bluetooth stereo featuring Focal 3 way speakers in a custom kicker front panel and dual subs in the trunk. Convertible top is in nice condition with a couple of rub marks at a couple corners from folding back top. It has new cylinders and operates perfectly. The car has a new gas tank and fuel lines. New interior I had all interior removed and the car was completely dynomatted in the cab as well as the bottom trunk. Most of the trim has been replaced recently Brand new tires and American Racing wheels Viper alarm system with ignition kill and power lock entry The only rust patch was at the firewall where an old cracked cowl let water gather. The quarter sized rust was cut out and replaced with metal and the cowl was replaced. This is THE car that not only is appreciated greatly at car shows, but is so reliable and so comfortable to drive that trips down the California coast are a MUST! The flaws: There is one smaller than a pea chip in the drivers rear quarter panel. The top which is fairly new has a couple of rub marks from opening it. The top has been adjusted since.
