Vehicle Detail
1967 Pontiac Bonneville with the original unmolested 428 and factory Air Conditioning. Auto transmission. Car shows 34k on the odometer. Car was purchased from the older 2nd owner and her son and grandson. Car was bought from her sister in 1968. It was last registered and on the road in 1985. I got first hand stories about the car. Age has required that it be restored but it is a very solid unmolested car. It sat in a garage for about 25 years and outdoors covered for about the past 6. That's how it stayed so solid. It was parked in '85 and left untouched basically. It is a State of Georgia Bill of Sale car but there is still a chance on the title to come through. Selling as a Bill of Sale car and anything more is a bonus. DRIVETRAIN- All there from the air cleaner down. Underhood looks great including no rust. Orig carb, A/C, you name it. Motor was not stuck and we did get it to run off feed gas. All the years it sat, it sat with an engine full of oil. Needs a tune up & carb rebuild of course. Trans, rear end, all original. BODY- Very solid. Looks like maybe one repaint but that would have been in the mid 80's or earlier. It is a true Gold on Gold car, very nice color combo. All trim it is there. Needs a windshield, all other glass is good. Floor pans are solid, trunk pan will need a few small repairs but I don't believe it needs to be replaced at all. Doors, rockers, hood, deck lid, fenders, quarters, roof, jams, inner fenders all look great. Where the rubber weatherstripping is for the trunk towards the back of the car has some rust from the old rubber holding moisture I guess. Easy fix. Bumpers are driver quality, each has a small dent. Chrome peeling in some corners. Front valance is great. Car does come with the original great condition fender skirts. Original hubcaps are pretty good. Paint is not shiny like in the pictures, it just got it's first washing in decades. INTERIOR- Worn out by time, not by use. Headliner sags and is shot. Carpet shot, might as well do a package tray. Seat covers are in real good condition, just need to be cleaned really well. Door panels show age, not abuse, with new carpet at the bottom would make nice drivers. Driver's side arm rest needs covered. Dash is complete and unmolested. Has a little holder that the annual registration was put in and it's from 1981. Dash pad is NOT CRACKED. We believe that it is a 34k car. It was parked in 1985 and shows no heavy use or abuse. Time capsule cars are getting harder to find unrestored. Especially with the GOOD big motors and top if off with complete factory A/C. Car can be bought reasonably but not cheap. This is a great car if you want to own it. Car is for sale locally in north Georgia. Feel free to contact me. Look at my feedback, I'm honest and expect you to be also. I'll weed out no feedbacks or low rated buyers. Please look at terms of sale. GOOD LUCK!!
