Vehicle Detail
This Ford Escape has been in my family for many years now. My mother owned it prior to myself. This is the V6 3.0L XLT Sport Utility model and makes a great adventure vehicle! We drive on dirt roads often with it, as well as in deep snow covered dirt roads and have never gotten stuck once. The 4 wheel drive works well, good tires. It has a new alternator & battery. Roof racks come in very handy for the toys. There's a scratch on the back from a bike that came loose and tried to fall off while rolling down the interstate, luckily the roof racks held up. There's a dent in the passenger rear fender from the previous owner (uh hum, my mother) as well as a small cigarette burn in the passenger rear seat. The driver's front fender's paint is starting to chip and fade. The windshield has a couple small dings but nothing noticeable. The center armrest has a crack in it. There is a CD player but I have never been able to get it to work, never had it worked on either though the radio works well. The oil light flickers on and off even after the oil has been changed, it may be a sensor, not sure. There is a small oil leak as well, it has dripped since I've had it, nothing major just be sure to change the oil when it's due. Cruise control works, as does the overdrive option. Same key locks/unlocks the doors, starts the engine and locks the glove box. We have 2 remote keys with alarm button, however the plastic loop broke on one so it won't hook to a key chain. There's a stain in the carpet in the very back. Both the A/C and the heat work very well, as well as the rear window defrost. This is a great vehicle for long trips, we take it on trips often hence the high mileage. The mileage will be more than what's pictured here as I am still driving this vehicle daily until it sells. Very dependable, both the engine and transmission are good and the oil has been changed regularly. I am listing this vehicle for sale locally also and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I really love this vehicle and hate to see it go, but I had to get an even larger vehicle for a road trip I'm taking across country in a few months and just don't have the room to keep this one also. Would serve as a great family vehicle as well. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks!
