This car is fun and an investment: Bought car in 1993- was also looking at Camaro’s 1967-74. All were 20-24 years old and in good to very good condition, all priced in the $7-14K – were plenty -more than a dozen right in my city (St.Louis) in 1993 Q: How much are those cars worth today at 44-49 years old? A: Most are selling in the $40/45-100K range. Wonder how much at 75? A: More than now… Today 2016: The 87-92 ‘s RS, Z-28 and Iroc Z’s are the same 19-24 years old, selling at almost the same $7-15K range, however, had to do USA wide search on the 3 largest websites to find a dozen -good to very good condition. Q: How much will these cars sell for at 44-49 A: Predict - very similar to their predecessors. If they even get close this so their older counterparts this is one heck of an investment and just as much fun...! You don’t have to take my word,,, if you do USA wide search on carsdotcom, autotrad..dotcom, cargurusdotcom you will find . I found 6 in similar condition mine would be at the top of those all these were priced at $5995-10K/ Zero had any Z-25 app pkg, Zero with new paint, 2 had 5 speeds, and I seriously doubt that any had anywhere near the massive mechanical overhaul/modernization that I gave this car. I only found 6 that were basically pristine they were priced at: $12,300 $13,500, $15,000, $15,000 $17,500. $17,900, This car: Asking: $4650 plus $1000-1250 = $5900 – better/rare options & cooler in my opinion than the 12,300-17,xxx Should be a no brainier on this car …This is an incredible deal –I would not be selling at all if I didn’t have to. This car will be officially a classic car next year. This car is going to do nothing but increase in value and it will continue to go up and up from here on out and I believe it will go up substantially in value just like it predecessors did form this age on.. Reason Selling: Relocating- now leaving 2/21/16 I have 10 days car must go as I can't extend any longer..... Car’s History: This RS was custom ordered by a young many who had been saving up since he was kid . He had always dreamed of owning an RS in mid 1992 and was delivered in early September 1992 (think it was Sept 7th) this was one of the last F-Bodys off the assembly line. He babied this car and was why I jumped on it as it was very clear this car was special in more than 1 way, This you man took very special care of everything including properly breaking the motor in, adding the expensive Anti-Rust pkg and is why it made it 92-99 with no rust in the Mid-West and has been in AZ 99-present. It has really shown its entire life that he broke this car in perfectly, as the car has never stranded me ever- not even once! This car has never had any engine work and has been the most reliable car I've ever owned by far. This car has 141,xxx miles and still starts on the 1st turn and runs just like the day I bought it 23 year ago. -See Video it purrs and runs strong;-) I bought it 1993 because he was getting married and had baby on the way...unfortunately he had to sell his other baby. I was looking old Camaro's, 87-90 Irocs, and the 92' 25th Anniversary. RS and Anniversary Z28's. The moment I saw this car (it looked, drove ran like it was brand spanking new car) We took a 5 minute test drive stopped and I immediacy I broke out 18,750 cash and bought it in the spot! (The car was 23,500 new -the way he customer ordered) I drove her from 1993 until late 1999 as an everyday car. I moved to AZ, started a family, bought a an SUV and gave her a very long 14 year rest from Dec 1999- until August 2013 and have been spent nearly 10,500 on her restoration. Whoever get this car is lucky as its sound as a rock and special. You see what I mean when you drive her!!! Notes: The reason it has a dent in the passenger door and some hood damage was vandalism;( Terms of Sale: I will accept cash, cashier’s check or personal check. If paying by any type check, if check is not from a local bank: will be verified, deposited and once cleared the next day you may pick up everything car, title and keys. If in state and local branch is available I can meet you there (Cash is preferred) A 1000 dollar is manafatiry *********Please call / text / email Chris with any questions from 8 am to 1 am- Mountain time, as long you are seeing this.
