Vehicle Detail
We are sad to send the Eurovan on to the next adventure. It has been a great car and taken us through many roadtrips -- even across Wyoming in the middle of winter storms! It drives well in the snow and has only 10,000 miles on a set of 90,000 mile rated all-season tires. If you haven't been in one of these, they are great to drive and really wonderful for road trips. They seat seven very comfortably. The rear seating arrangement means that there is more than enough leg-room for anyone. The fold up table in the back makes it great for playing board games while you drive or having a meal when you stop. With the back seats folded flat and the top up, you can very comfortably sleep four adults on two nearly queen-size beds. Everything is in working order, including the underseat refrigerator in the back and the rear heater core -- I understand that it is rare to find vans with these still working. We bought it from a dealer who specializes in these vans and have had all service and most of the work done by a mechanic who specializes in them as well. We've replaced the muffler, a window motor, the fuel pump, the second battery and the A/C expansion unit in the time we've had it. We've also installed a CD player and the speakers all sound good. The car has 193,700 miles on it and is in very solid mechanical condition, there are no known repair or maintenance needs. The interior upholstery and carpet are in good shape -- no rips or tears or stains anywhere. All the curtains are there -- and I've just installed the missing hooks so they are all there as well. There is one small tear in the cloth enclosure for the top, it would be easy to patch. The seatbelt retractor on the rear-facing seat behind the driver’s seat is missing. The seatbelt works fine and is solid and safe, but it doesn't automatically retract. We haven't used that seat in a while and I entirely forgot the issue. If you buy it, I'll get it fixed before you pick it up. The body and paint are clean, though there are a few minor dings that you'd expect with a car this age. There is a tiny bit of rust on the flanges on the rocker panels under the front doors that hasn't gotten any worse in the time we've owned it. Other than that I haven't seen any body damage or paint issues. Other than those two minor issues, this car is in really good condition and it's a pleasure to drive. Bluebook for the car is just shy of $11,500. There is no reserve price. I won't be relisting it with a reduced price if the auction doesn't close successfully, I'll sell it elsewhere. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.NOTE: I just talked to the mechanic who serviced it before we bought it. He changed the timing belt just before we bought it and said the transmission was in 'beautiful shape'. That was about 30,000 miles ago. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
