Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Absolutely STUNNING 2002 Cadillac SLS for sale by private party. Garage kept with a clean Carfax report. No accidents, original paint, non-smoker. Extremely well maintained with only 62k ORIGINAL miles. I want to be very thorough so read what you want but it all pertains to the car. I do like CarFax and the reports, the only problem I have seen is that when you make ANY title changes (i.e. another state, add a name to title) it always says "New Owner" which is totally false. I look at accidents?, rental?, service, etc. The guy as you can see diligently took it to a Florida Cadillac dealer and also in Southern California took it to "Jessup Auto Plaza" which is a Cadillac dealership. The car was owned by Elderly Doctor. Initially was in Southern Florida but met someone in Southern California at a reunion.. The reason for various titles in past year is Basically, it had been titled by a family member, than wife didn’t want, and myself needed a car until my new car arrived from Germany. The history on original owner is very good repairwise. I did put in some money myself and the car passed California Emissions within the last 6 months with no problem. Complete review of car mechanically which included transmission and Northstar engine. It needed Rack and Pinion Steering, CV Boots, CV axle shafts ($1500) and brand new (4) Good Year tires. ($600). Had it looked inspected when I just bought (see attached). I did get a gasket/hose service that rejuvenated these items as heat in summer is hard on all these parts. Misc mechanical were sensor, latch, light bulb, etc. No accidents (except bumper glitches) or any medium to major mechanical done. The driver's side front/rear pillar has a hole in it, see pic. The guy had trouble getting in/out of car and it became a wear area. Due to elderly man the front plastic lower bumper (where it hits the curb) was scratched along with Rear Plastic bumper has same issue. Also, the ends of front/rear bumper have been touched up. My guess is old guys "eyesight" was a tad bit off. The bumper was repsprayed, but the rest of body is original. TOTALLY original. The 4 chrome Cadillac Rims have no "curb rash".I have maybe $6000 approx into the car, what I get is what I get. I am tempted to keep it as a 3rd car by my Condo/Townhouse Association requires vehicles to be in a garage and not on street or driveway. No warranty, sold "as is". Clean and Free California Title. New Rear Air Shocks, plus a lot of new parts. The transmission had a leak, I had it checked out by 2 different places. They both said "fine". Replaced a Transmission Pan Gasket. Passed California Emissions without a problem at all. (fyi- California emissions are very strong rules/regs if you are not from here). My guess is the elderly gentleman put something in the CD player, as same with glove box (replaced broken lock) as you couldn't open it. Glove box corrected. I have all the ORIGINAL OWNER MANUALS. History of this car is WAY ABOVE normal as the elderly guy always brought it to Cadillac, had window sticker, had original manuals, Cadillac Key FOB (only 1 - other lost by him) with a Cadillac Key (not a .99 key from Wal-Mart). 2 Key things that are wrong is Windshield Wash valve located in the plastic white container is bad and you get a "notice" on the dash indicating low windshield wash fluid, and this guy stuck something in the CD player is my guess. One other thing, a power window in the rear (forget which one as we always use a/c) does not work. On Feb 12th, I turned on the A/C and it was not ice cold. Freon? As always had NO problems and blew EXTREMELY COLD air. No cold A/C again yesterday. I am traveling 4-5 days a week and hard to get checked. PRIVATE PARTY - NO RESERVE. I could possibly get you a deal on shipping from a friend that transports one car here/there with a car hauler. It all really depends on where it is going and how many miles.
