Rare, original and powered by a freshly rebuilt 400 V-8 high performance engine, This exceptionally clean and straight Ventura hardtop coupe is among the nicest in our warehouse of over 70 classics. Near perfect paint and body and super clean interior. The engine compartment is very clean as well with all major items original to the car. The sheet metal is original, straight and very solid. The previous owner did an excellent job keeping the car preserved and improved the car to make it as beautiful as possible. No disappointments here! The classic mid 60's lines are unmistakable. The styling cues are unique to the era and feature sleek and long lines with many fine details including larger chrome bumpers, larger grill areas and small chrome accents and decorative appointments through out. The interior design has some lingering art deco styling borrowed from the cars of the late 50's and early 60's. The engineering and technical advancement in these years were dramatic over the new post war cars of the middle and late 1950's. The engines are much larger and more powerful and the suspensions have been tuned to a higher degree making the cars glide down the interstate. The interiors feature many more creature comforts and options like power brakes and power steering were regularly installed on the larger luxury models.
