Vehicle Detail

Up for auction in this really cool 1984 Mercedes 300 turbo diesel euro wagon. The VIN number is WDB1231931F019124. Below is the listed condition~ Powertrain- The 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine fires right up when cold. No blue or black smoke. Good oil pressure. 305K miles. Very smooth running. 35mpg. No issues with charging or cooling.Power steering works great. No leaks or weird engine noises. Turbo spools up great. The transmission was rebuilt approximately 5 years ago and shifts flawlessly. Should have no problem getting to 500k. Suspension- Smooth running down the road, cruises at 70mph effortlessly. Brakes works good. Steers down the road straight. No squeaks or rattles. Steering is tight. Tires have approximately 50% life left and all have even wear. Interior- Worn but presentable. Drivers seat has tear that could be re-sewed. Minor dash cracking. Back of passengers side front seat has panel that came off,I cannot figure out how to put it back on. All lights and signals work. Radio works. Clock does not work, all other gauges work (gas, voltage, cooling etc.) Electric windows on drivers side front and rear are inoperable,I am not sure if it is a fuse, the motors,or the window switch.AC works but needs a recharge. Both the passenger electric side windows operate fine. Missing carpet in rear seating area. Headliner is in good shape. Exterior-Body is solid. Factory blue paint is worn but looks decent (10 footer paint). Minor chipped paint revealing rust free primer by the windshield wiper arms, and a small area on the edge of the front drivers side fender on the edge of the wheel well. Missing "300 td" badge on trunk lid as seen in the pictures. Edge of door on passenger side rear has a small area of missing paint and very minor surface rust. Missing antennae. Minor rust spot below the drivers side back window. The only body damage is on the bottom of the rear passenger door, barley noticeable. All in all looks good. No rust behind all four wheel wells. Front windshield need replacement, all other glass is in excellent shape. Undercarriage- Nothing to report here. Zero under body rust. Floorboards are solid and rust free as well. I think that pretty much covers it. Please take time to view the you tube videos below for a walk around and driving test. Cars like this are getting harder to find as time goes by. I get lots of complements when taking it out :) This is also the euro model and was inspected by the Washington state patrol when it was imported, they affixed a tag that is on the drivers side pillar.Clean title in my name. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Car can be shown in person or inspected if interested.
