Vehicle Detail

1968 Jeep M715 4x4 with a clear Ohio titleThe trucks were made in 1967-69 for the military. This m715 is completely and METICULOUSLY modified with no expense spared. The only items that are original on this truck are the body and the frame. A new, complete drive-train, brake system, wiring system, fuel system has been installed with detail and attention to quality and performance. The truck has never been off-road and currently has 700 miles on it from driving to shows and never off road driven. However, it was/is built to off road. The body and frame were 100% disassembled and professionally sandblasted. Milspec epoxy primer was applied and then Milspec C.A.R.C. (chemical agent resistant coating) was applied. This paint is currently used on military vehicles such as the hummer. The inside and bottom of the cab has also been RHINO lined for superior durability. Original folding “Troop” seats have been installed in the bed of the truck which was designed to transport personnel. The drive-train consists of a 502 horse power crate motor (ZZ502) with a serpentine belt system and Edelbrocks fuel injection system. The exhaust is custom and is Stainless Steel. The transmission is a HD TH400 automatic built to withstand 700HP. The transfer case is a twin sticked NP205, the strongest made. The axles are 2 ½ ton Rockwell with OEM brand lockers in the front and rear. The lockers give power to all 4 wheels, unlike your typical 4x4 which only provide power to 2 wheels. The wheels are double beadlocks which allow you to air down the tire pressure without the tire slipping on the rim. This will benefit you with a greater “footprint”, for better traction in adverse conditions. The tires are Michelin XML radials and are 46” tall.Tilt steering, power steering, and power brakes have been installed. Custom Stainless Steel brake lines were used so they will last a lifetime. In addition, every nut, bolt, washer used is Stainless Steel so they would not rust. A 12,000 lb. Hydraulic winch is on the front. Custom springs were made and ranchero adjustable shocks (adjustable from the cab) were installed. Electrical Autometer gages were used for accuracy and longevity. MasterCraft Camouflage seats were installed with a 5 five point harness for comfort and safety. The electrical system is a water resistant system from Painless Wiring. A PSC power steering pump powers the Hydraboost power brakes, winch, power steering and Hydraulic assist .You can turn with one finger ! Some Pictures show the tow bar attached to the axles on the truck. Two pins out and the tow bar is off . I can include the tow bar for an additional cost if you need it.How does it drive and ride ? Like a factory 3/4 ton pick up , straight down the road , and like a dream ................Finally, this is a one of a kind truck that involved a lot of thought and design before the actual build, literally hundreds of hours. It’s not just show but will go. The Truck could not be built for the starting bid. It probably is the nicest modified M715 on the planet . I have nearly 300 pictures of the build for the serious buyer. Only reason I am selling is to buy a viper ACR extreme.Front and rear oem lockers $1000Alcan springs $1200Bearings, boots , clamps, for rockwells $170Custom Ubolts rockwells $90Rockwell shock mounts $60Rancho 9000 shocks, inside cab pump, lines $490Ididit tilt steering column $300Rockwell axles $950Flaming river u-joint steering shaft, grant wheel and install parts $450PSC steering box, pump and hoses $7604” drop pitman arm $60Fk Steering Heims $340Np205 $450NP205 seals $100np205 twinstick rails $100NP205 cables and shipter $350Michelin XML tires $1000stazwork beadlocks $1800Sand blast entire truck $1000CARC Military paint and epoxy primer $540Paint job, camo by lainhart $600ZZ502 Chevy crate motor $7500Edelbrock electronic fuel injection $2300serpentine belt system $790Flexelite radiator and fans $925Overflow tank, fittings headlights, straps $250Built TH400 tranny $910HD transmission cooler, hose $100Artcar shifter $240Motor mount and trans mount $150Royal purple ATF,powersteering, tcase fluid $220Front and rear LED lights and black out light $280Corvette exhaust manifolds/gaskets $425Front and rear driveshafts cut and balanced $300drive shaft ujoints $75Transfercase to trans shaft custom $260Hydraboost power brakes and stainless steel brake lines $675Rocker panels $120Rhino lined cab $520Mastercraft seats $970RJS fivepoint seat belts $210Aluminum fuel cell $200Dual battery kit $130red top batteries $250Aluminum battery box $95Painless wiring system, panels, switches, accessories $1060Autometer phantom electric (the best) gauges $910Lokar bracket $75Lokar pedal $100Summit heater, transmanifold, horns $270Wiper motors/arms $180Piaa lights $130ARB bumper customized $50012K Mile marker Hydraulic winch $820Stainless steel exhaust custom $750Flowmaster super 44 mufflers $190Parking brake and K&N filter custom air intake $410Windshield $250Military cab top $475Gas cans straps, axe shovel,Antenna etc..$475Misc bolts, wires, clamps, bearings etc..$700I am sure some things are missing, but the major items are listed.I have 95% of the receipts. There are a lot of custom parts That were made by me (machinist/toolmaker 30 + years), brackets, steering items, body lift, radiatior supports, etc.., etc,,,etc,, not listed.
