1999 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas. This is a long wheel base Jaguar XJ8 L Vanden Plas with all the options. It has all the Vanden Plas features including all the wood trim and fold down trays. Here are the good features. Car was running and in very good condition until last month. Interior is in VG to excellent condition. Paint is good with minor dings, needs buffing in some areas, with all good chrome. All electrical were in working condition. Glass is excellent. Car has NO RUST. Sunroof, radio, CR, lights etc., and all computers were working. Trans, and suspension were fine. Rear muffler brackets broke when towed home. Recently changed oil, new filters, new platinum spark plugs and 8 new spark plug coils. The bad. The car as in very good condition until the chain tension- er broke. This is a common problem with these cars and the V8 engine. I shut it down and towed it to my house. Engine starts, but you can hear tension-er rattle and Jaguar mechanic told me not to run the engine again until fixed. Needs a few tires. No time to fix, selling the car AS IS. Clean NJ title. If you know Jaguar's, this is a car that is worth the fix or worth three times starting bid in parts. Sold New for almost $70,000. Must be towed from garage. Priced for a quick sale.
