Up for sale is my 1962 Chevy Impala SS project in process. The story on the car is was bought originally by a military man who ended up going to Vietnam and did not make it home. The car sat in the mother's barn from 1972 up until June 2015. I bought the car from an individual that bought it from the mother's estate sale. This is an all matching number car. It has a freshly rebuilt 327 with 3 speed on the column manual transmission. I still have the original heads, but decided to go with double hump heads. It was bored 20 over and I had the crank turned 10. It has all new pistons, connecting rods, push rods, oil pump, 10 over mains and rods with 202 valves and a mild cam. I have the original intake, but decided to go with a performance intake. I also have the original valve covers, but decided to go with Edelbrock valve covers. I have over $4000 invested in this motor. I have invested over $5000 in new parts for this car. I have all of the interior seats (bucket seats). The seats will need to be reupholstered. Also included is all of the original, usable SS trim. The frame is in very good, solid condition.
