For sale, extremely nice 1968 AMC Javelin SST. The car sat since the mid-80s in a Barn where it was discovered by the last owner, Who unfortunately could not get it back on the road. It was then purchased by my brother and I, we completely stripped the car and put a nice factory look single stage paint job on it, in the original color. All brake hydraulic parts and brake hoses were replaced. The gas tank was removed and coated, fuel pump and fuel lines were replaced. The radiator was sent out, cleaned and repaired and the water pump replaced at that time along with the front cover gasket. The transmission fluid was flushed and filter replaced and all fluids changed. The odometer shows 29,000 miles, however could be 129,000 miles? Looks to be the lower mileage as the car is very original and in great shape. The car starts right up, runs beautifully and shifts smoothly, this is an extremely nice driver. I would say the car is better than driver quality and would place in a local car show. The paint is very nice with only some small blemishes, However from close-up it looks great! You could leave the car as is and enjoy it for several years, Or add some small touches and take this car to the next level. The car has the 290 V8 rated at 200 hp. 2bbl carb, auto transmission.
